BDG Design Group: San Diego, CA, United States; Building on more than 25 years experience by the owners in the stone and tile industry, BDG Design Group was established in January 2009 as a premier resource for unique architectural materials coupled with unparalleled service to the architects and designers in the San Diego region. After discovering our serene and creative space in June 2009, we spent the next 20 months designing and refining our ideas for a new kind of showroom to serve the A&D community in San Diego. Eschewing traditional vignettes, we decided to display our varied types of materials in large format displays. Our showroom provides an abundant amount of storage space for material samples and working tools from each of our vendors. And we have incorporated barcode labels for materials from each vendor along with barcode scanners and iPads to provide timely responses to client queries concerning pricing, availability, etc. BDG Design Group is located at the entrance to historic Presidio Park in San Diego. Our showroom is in a locally significant building architected and occupied by the renowned San Diego architect Homer Delawie (1927-2009).
